We were so happy with the experience. Not only was Jorge just a pleasure to be around with his upbeat personality and his humor, his passion for Puerto Rico made us appreciate the area even more. Jorge was extremely knowledgeable in all things Puerto Rico, from the history, to culture, and even the animals and plants we could find in the rainforest. It was such a great experience to learn so much from him. We went in knowing barely anything about Puerto Rico, but left knowing so much about the history and culture.

Aside from the positives of the tour itself, we also loved how Jorge was our photographer and took amazing photos! There are some great photos of us that we definitely could not have taken with a group tour or if we were by ourselves.   Fun, Informative, AMAZING Experience, Instagram Worthy - I accidentally stumbled upon Jorge and his tour company. My friend referred me to someone else and that tour company couldn't accommodate me for the times I wanted but... read more was kind enough to refer me to someone else...Here comes in Jorge. Unique Quality Tours met my expectations and then some. Let's start with our flight was two hours late. Jorge was there at our hotel waiting for our arrival as he was monitoring our flight. He even instructed us where we can park our rental vehicle. By the way, do not rent from Thrifty Car Rental in PR you will be stuck online for hours. As Jorge and I spoke he asked me great questions about our level of activity, if we wanted a fast-paced tour or just wanted to stroll the city streets. He also inquired to see if we knew anything about Puerto Rico's history. He was a wealth of knowledge.

Jorge has an infectious smile. I could tell because his eyes would squint when wearing his mask. I was able to prove his smile was indeed infectious when he took a picture with us. He drove with us across the island hitting all the cool spots, magnificent views of the island. Jorge knows about everything rum, whiskey, pop culture, animals, food, politics, music, history, and my favorite, photography. Not only did we tour, but he took pictures of us that were Instagram worthy.

Trust is restaurant picks, he was right on target every time.

Rates were affordable. I'd average them out to about $50 an hour, but again it depends on what you want. We wanted semi-customized. He speaks both Spanish and English perfectly. He can also create itineraries for you if you want to explore the island by yourself. My friend and I did that for one day. We wanted to visit as many beaches as possible. He gave us 7 stops. The scenic views will forever stay in my memory bank.

Jorge is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about San Juan in particular and Puerto Rico in general. We enjoyed our tours immensely. The trip in Jorge's van to Ponce (90 minutes each way) gave us the opportunity to learn more about living in Puerto Rico, including the effects of Hurricane Irma in 2017. If you are spending any time in Old San Juan, please take his walking tour first thing, which is what we did. Among other things, his dining recommendations were spot on.

Jorge is one of these people that you can throw a question at him and he will have the answers on the spot. He is very knowledgeable and is very excited to tell you more about Puerto Rico, so you quickly feel connected to this place and want to come back!
